Portland recommendations?

I'm going up to Portland this coming Thursday - Sunday and staying in the Hawthorne district. Any recommendations for some foodie/beer drinking folk?

Nik recommended Heathman to me and my husband a few years ago and it was great as a date stop. Excellent food and atmosphere.

Le Bistro Montage for awesome Mac & Cheese

Devils Point for gothic girls getting buck naked dancing and cheap micro brews on tap

The Acropolis for a cheap steak, 70 beers on tap, and buck naked women dancing

Stars Cabaret in Beaverton - every chick in that place is a nine or dime.

For sure. Most places are filled with hipsters and such (don't mind personally), but the grub and drink is excellent.

Also, some of the best food is found in strip clubs.

Some of their locations are historic gems and worth a visit. But they also have a large number of strip-mall pubs that aren't worth visiting.
