We might set a record here in Detroit tonight for the LOWEST temp, it was 90F yesterday, tonight it's suppose to get down to 52F.

It's the humidity that gets to me. I don't mind the 100+ degree whether, but when it's "sticky" outside... eww.

I lived in Lake Elsinore, CA, and it would REGULARLY break 110 in the summer.

It gets up to 450 degrees C on the surface of Mercury, but that doesn't mean people should live there.

Frankly, a mild climate is a big factor when choosing where to live. Seattle is *usually* pretty good for that, but...

Right now I'm eating ice cream with blueberries and homemade whipped cream :)

I have a friend who just arrived in Oregon. He's staying at a place with no AC. :Q

Average high for this time of the year is 83ºF.

The thermometer at a gas station a few blocks from my house read 104 in the shade yesterday. I haven't gone over to ask the manager what it read today, but it was sure as hell hotter today than yesterday. I sat outside with some friends yesterday. We had a little water fight. It was fun. I got a sunburn. :(

10:00 PM at night? As opposed to 10:00 AM at night or 10:00 PM in the morning? ;)

It was a few degrees cooler today than yesterday.

It's cooling off nicely now. We were still in the upper 80s at this point yesterday.

It's cooled down to 83 here in Clackamas.

It's beautiful outside right now here in Phoenix. It was like 112 yesterday, but a nice t-storm helped drop the temps nice and quick.

You know what really sucks? Going an entire month without dropping below 100 (including night time), or going more than 115 days of 100+ heat.

We vacationed in Phoenix for a week, May of 2002. It was BITCHIN HOT but at least it was dry heat with little to no humidity.

That would suck, but then again.. I bet there are very few (sane) people that don't have A/C in Phoenix....

Maybe over by you... maybe it's just me? I was outside most of the day yesterday. Today, I've been hiding inside. I stayed in my mom's house today with central air cranked and cooling to a nice 68 degrees. :D

I just meant at the airport, the official PDX temp.

It was basically the same as yesterday. It's hard to discern just a few degrees.
