Porting number from Verizon to Vonage

Anyone port their landline number from Verizon to Vonage?
typically how long does it take?

I've been in 'pending' since August 2nd... I'm really fvcking irritated, but apparently there's nothing I can do...

Transferring from MCI. Vonage can't do anything and they say I shouldn't call MCI or it won't occur correctly...

My hands are tied and every month costs me $60 because of the TERRIBLE deal my wife signed up for
