Can i port my current phone # with Vonage over to Comcast digital voice ? I read many mixed reviews
 
You should be able to port it anywhere. That's the whole reason the gubment forced celery phone companies to have number portability. The only trick is that it may take some time to do the transfer, thus, you'll either have a temporary number for 8 weeks and eventually get your old number back, or you'll have to run both systems while the transfer is taking place.

if you are ok with not having the number for a while, go for it
 
Sometimes the company your to going to - in this case comcast will bear the burden of you current Vonage bill IF you have to keep both running for 8 weeks... Bargain with them...
