Is the First Slice just an 11 level demo? I mean, it's a great demo if it is, but I just want to make sure I haven't missed anything. I've only played the original, and I know there's a 2nd in the making.

First slice is sort of a tutorial, it is 11? 12 levels? First 5-6 are pretty basic, the rest are a bit more challenging but a crapload of fun. I wish i would have known the day they gave the game out for free.

the BEST part about portal is that I thought I was playing a tutorial, even a tech demo, wondering when the "real game" would start, talking to someone that had completed the game, and when they said "there is no tutorial, you're playing the game from the beginning" I about shit myself

Great game. Got it on PC first though I finally beat it on 360 (was free since the first owner got it on XBA). Went through all the chambers (including the advanced ones) inside four days once I sat down and finished it.
