A unique take on puzzle gameplay by the makers of Half-Life. I remember a YTMND pretty identical to that only using the scene from Prey. I'd say that this is taking the portal thing to another level, but I find it funny how no one has cried foul like some were doing when the Doom 3 expansion was released.



I would like to add that this appears to be mostly a puzzle solving game, but I would love to see this in a full fledged shooter. It would be great (and hilarious) as a tool you could use to send enemies into devious traps...

yeah, but you might be falling really fast and closing a portal might not be a great idea if you're gonna impact a floor at terminal velocity.

I guess you could project an exit onto a wall as you'r falling so you just get thrown out of a wall at some stupendous speed and slide across the floor. Sounds fun.

It comes bundled with HL2: Ep2 which comes out Q4 06. Also HL2: Ep2 comes with Team Fortress 2, but doesn't seem to be as good as TFC. Perhaps it will live up to its name, but we shall see!
