Portal rocks

Was holding off on the Orange Box for a rainy day. Finished Portal tonight and that has to be one of the most rewarding games ever. That ending was fricken great.

I bought portal with the box, but got bored in like 5 minutes. Maybe it deserves another shot.

Its really hard to overstate my satisfaction with this game
I'd personally consider it a huge success

I really liked it too.

After trying that NVDA extended demo (first slice) I picked up the Orange Box off Steam and played the half life 2 series for the first time as well.

Very worth the money in my mind, I liked all 4 games.

I'm not a fan of online multiplayer so I don't think I'll try TF2 though.

Bah! It's the second best part of the OB. You should come join us online, I mean you already own the game, so what do you have to lose? If you hate it, just don't play again, but there is a chance you could like it...

Seriously, it's worth a shot. There's so much life to it as well as quirky humor. Check out the 'Meet the...' series.

My feelings exactly. It's the type of game that I never would have bought, if it hadn't come with the Orange Box. I'm glad it did!

My personal favorites are when you destroy some of the machine gun sentires you hear them say as they fall to their demise "I don't blame you" which just cracked me up.

And of course the part of GLaDOS that was giving the instructions for making cake ... but a bit weird of ingredients.

Do a google for these ( Ren_test_mappack.zip & wcs_portaltfv_mappack.zip ) and keep the Portal fun going..however things get a lil tougher with the new maps. Have fun.

Picked mine up from Fry's B&M a month or two ago for $19.99. Keep your eye open I'm sure they'll do that again. They did it for a few weeks in a row.

I got sucked into the hype of TF2, tried it, bought it cause I was learning how to use each character etc (free weekend ended too soon) That was about 5 months ago.

The OB was one of the best purchases I've ever made.

Portal was superb.

Now I'm totally hooked on TF2.
