Portal 2 Performance on MBP

I am thinking about getting Portal 2 on STEAM (rather than for my Xbox360) and I am just wondering if you guys think it will run fairly well.

I have a late-2010 MBP w/ 2.53Ghz i5, 8GB RAM, and 256MB nVidia 330M GT.

I'd like to be able to run it at 1440x900 with decent quality settings. Thoughts?

I played Portal on my gf's macbook. It's decent but only at lowest settings. Booting into win 7 it's a fair amount faster. Source games take a good 30% hit when running on a mac because of openGL optimization. You guys should be okay at low. Medium might choke it.

Guess I will run it in Windows then. Thank god for bootcamp.

Oh god I forgot to mention she as 9400m in her macbook. The gt320m is atleast 50% faster and the 330m is a good 3 times faster.

I have the late 2010 2.4Ghz Core i5 GT330m Macbook Pro and I can safely say that the game runs great. I have no slowdowns and everything has been displayed perfectly. Ask me any questions if you'd like.

9400m 13" MBP with 8 GB RAM. It's playable, but not really that great. I have it at native res with 2x MSAA and meh, 20 fps or so. It's not an FPS so you don't need 60+, but 30 would be nice. I could probably dial it down some but I'll be playing it on my desktop for sure.
