Portal 2 Coop, Easter Egg. Warning Spoilers

My friend and I found an easter egg on coop chapter 4 section 9.

Ok, it may not be technically an easter egg then. But it is not a glitch or an exploit. We are not breaking anything in the game. We are simply doing the things the game encouraged us to do, placing portals and getting places.

It can be considered an exploit, or unintended design, as you are achieving something by means unintended.

Nevermind the fact that it's impossible to judge emotion or tone on the internet. He didn't use CAPS or !!!!!!!!!! so you don't have much to label him riled up :\

He was actually rather matter-of-fact and to the point about it. I'd be willing to bet his blood pressure didn't even rise

Haha yea my bad, I should lay off the coffee. Neat find though, I've still to play the co-op mode but I'll be doing that for sure

Neat. TBH I'm not sure what part of that video is considered a glitch because I haven't played the co-op part. Is that insert disc part not part of the puzzle I take it? In that case I'd call that an easter egg as that was very obviously put there on purpose. Otherwise the whole "insert disc" thing wouldn't have done anything.

When we jump down and skip the field that takes your portals away, we keep our portals so we can use the gravity funnel or whatever it is called. On that platform you are supposed to go through the door and continue on, but we cheat and use a portal to go back to the previous room.

Once we are in the room I shoot a portal and my partner strafe jumps (gl console) to the track.

You aren't really meant to be on the track, nor in the room.
