How do you know if a protable tv is worth it or not? Like knowing which channels you will get pretty clear and with sound that can be heard without much or any static before buying one and traveling with it? Is there anyway to know before hand? Any website that lets you know what local stations you can get from any location in the U.S. and how good the quality is in the location? I have a feeling portable tvs don't work that well.
 
Is it better to just watch recorded tv or dvds on a portable tv instead of even trying to use a portable tv for local live stations
