i was thinking of getting an ipod video...but if i wanted to watch video, i might as well get a PMP. what do you guys think is good out there?

the creative zen vision looks good. it has native support for compressed videos (xvid, divx, etc...) i was wondering if support for other formats can be added.

iRiver PMP-120 is pretty good from what I hear.

Note - don't get the PMC-120 unless you want to convert everything to WMV format. 😛

Or you could get a PSP ... 😉

Also, you would have to spend a lot just to get a gig or 2 of storage.

couldn't he burn them to discs? If so i'd do that the panel on the psp is fairly nice and widescreen.
