Is there such a thing as: a semi-portable HDMI monitor for use with a NUC (small form factor computer)? Something like a 15.6" or larger IPS monitor (commonly found on laptop machines), with a hinged screen protector, except minus the laptop's internal PC components.
Suitable for use with something like this: [FONT=Tahoma,sans-serif]
Intel NUC5i7RYH

Thanks.

I know that they have portable USB monitors. I don't know if they have any that are powered by USB, and also accept an HDMI input.

USB monitor is probably the way to go but I have to ask, wouldn't a laptop be easier at that point?

To me seems to much work for something you can get out of a laptop without the hassle.

They do apparently make USB-powered portable monitors with HDMI input like this one for $200. I really have no idea about the quality of that particular unit, but it is a 1366x768 TN panel, so I wouldn't expect amazing things.
