I bought a 1TB Free Agent Extreme last week because I needed something that I could store all of my video/film stuff on for school. It said Windows on the box but I figured I could just reformat it so that I could use it on OSX (which is what's in our editing lab). I went in today with some footage I needed to edit for a project due in a couple days and figured it wouldn't be that hard to reformat on OSX, but I really am a n00b when it comes to technical stuff on Macs.
Am I correct in thinking that if it's FAT32 I'll be able to use it on any Mac? I figured I could just do it at home right now then go and copy all my files onto it from FCP later if it comes down to it.
