Question Portable hard drive MS to Mac.

I needed to send my brother a large block of audio files. I have an older Seagate 500GB portable HDD... so I loaded them up on it and sent it off to him, but I forgot... he is on a Mac. He's not super tech savvy, and I'm not familiar with Macs... he says he can't find the drive on his computer.

Is there a way around this without having him borrow someone's Windows PC? He will still need to move the files to his Mac in the end... so that's not really a valid avenue.
