Portable gaming machine

Although dell just released the m1730, it is not allowing any customization as yet so I can't really compare it to the m1710 that I customized a month or so ago. If you were going to buy or build a portable gaming machine what would be your choice. If you know price please include.
 
The only upside to the m1730 I can see is the blue-ray drive and dx10 support. Plus it's almost 3lbs heavier than the m1710.


What games are you playing that you need the best of the best gaming laptops? And what's your budget?
 
If you choose the highest level one, you can configure the RAM, HDD, CPU (IIRC), colors, Optical drives, and that seems to be about it
