I use a ryobi 14.4 volt my self, for when i work on my vehicles,
and when changing a motherboard/pci cards etc on a computer.

Radio Shack has the perfect fluorescent flash light for fixing computers. I can't seem to find it on their website but they probably have it in the store. It's got almost the exact same dimensions as the original Diamond Rio MP3 player. It's great for working on computers because you can just sit it on the bottom of the case and it will light up just about everything. It's extremely bright and runs on 2 AA batteries. I'd STRONGLY recommend you use NICD/NIMH batteries because it eats them in a little over an hour.

What about using a white cold cathode made for installing inside a case? You can splice the cord to run it off of any 12V ac adapter.
