Portable dvd players: whats the lightest and best screen

I bought the IPOD combo dvd player and it sucked.

I want a plain and simple dvd portable player for my kids to watch on planes.
It has to be at east 7-9 inches - SCREEN. but high quuality and crisp image.

Other factor is size. I want it to be the lightest and thinest.

I saw some selection at best buy and they were all blahhh.

Help me obe-anandtech.

When I bought my DVD player a few years ago, Toshiba was known for making the best models. I'm not sure if that's still the case, but you can check them out.
