Portable dvd player--recommendations

My 14 yr old wants a portable dvd player. Some of these are as expensive as laptops. I was looking at thisToshiba form BB which is $399 less $100 MIR. Anyone own this? Other recommendations?

Try to suggest something else for him? I never saw a point to a portable DVD player unless you are on the road ALOT. At that point, I would just get a laptop anyway.

get a cheap laptop

it will be way better.

if u are gonna get noe, at least get one that is a brand name.

I have a 7" RCA that I got from Walmart. Works great, would recommend it. It was about $325 if I recall, however I got it for less due to confusion on the CSRs part...
