Portable CD ISO library product(usb hard drive type)?

I was thinking today how nice it would be to have a USB hard drive that could hold all my CD ISO's and when you plugged it into a computer it could show up as a cd-rom holding anyone of the images on the hard drive. The image selection could just be a little lcd and some buttons on the hard drive allowing you to select the images or set the hard drive in cd-rom emulation or just usb hard drive mode. Seems like a reasonable product to me and wondering if anyone has ever seen or knows where to get one.

Seems like there would be a pretty limited market for something like this, outside of the enthusiast market, and I think the enthusiast market would be fine with using daemon tools and an external hard drive.

You could always trying making one yourself using an external HD and an old palm pilot for the interface (like they always do on that gadget hacking blog whose name escapes me now).

I wasn't thinking of using it in audio setting, but more along the lines of a computer shop might have one with programs and OS on them as reading from a hard drive would speed things up greatly and simplify things.

So you put ISO files to a USB hard drive, install Daemon Tools on local machine, mount image to drive. Presto?

Ok, that would work but every time you wish you install something on a machine from a image you need to install the CD emulator program and that wont work for OS's and LiveCDs. I think the limitations warrent that there might have been a standalone product made.
