Port Types on Nexus 5000 Series

Hi,

I am looking opinion on impact of changing Port Type on port channel and interfaces from Network To Normal. Will there be any effect on network performance,
Switches are connected through Port channels.

port channels are trunks. don't change this

I tried looking at the NX-OS interfaces config guide but didn't see any reference to "network" vs. "normal" ports. Could be I'm just missing it? Anyway, if you have the exact command syntax you can just google it and find out what the difference is.
