One company in Dallas keeps scanning just one our IPs (a proxy server) for UDP ports 33434 through 33458. Just those same ports, over and over, for months posibly.
Since some SMTP servers (maybe MS SMTP servers) out there in the world seem to have some automatic reconisance feature of trying UDP 137 when we send mail to them, I'm wondering if this might be a standard feature of one particular product, web server.
My Google searches haven't revieled anything about this specific type of range scan....
