I voted, but he's driving a Panamera, which is the Porsche that nobody wants. He may as well been driving a Volvo there
I want to see people having fun in a drop-top 911 or a Boxster S when I see a Porsche commercial!
I understand what you're saying but, there are 10 film makers and *everyone* wants a 911. He wanted something that set him apart and also he had an idea for a "family" commercial. Strategy, sir!
Lifetime sets itself apart from other networks by only showing movies for women. Not all strategies are effective
I actually like the one where they were driving through New York with the top down.
Voted again...
I liked it, but there was some effect he kept using that looked almost like lens flare that really bugged the shit out of me.
Voted.
Did you just compare a sedan that can do under 8 minutes on the Nurburgring to a television network that caters to women with demographic targeted TV shows and B movies?
shame.![]()

Yes I did.
Porsche stands for the height of driving enjoyment and engineering, not lugging the family around to parks and picnics on weekends.
I want to see race track lines whizzing by like a blur, hear an engine at 8000 RPM going going HHHUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.....HaaaaaaRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, the drivers face distorting as he's going around a 2g turn, slamming the shifter from 5th to 2nd, a big smile on his face as he looks down at the Porsche emblem on the steering wheel. Maybe an explosion or two in the background as the guy is sitting on the hood with two hot babes in bikinis rubbing his shoulders. Now THAT'S a commercial.
I swear at the end of your friend's commercial, instead of Porsche I was going to see "Vagisil: For that not so fresh feeling."
i love the "pink pig" on the girl's nightstand

These are my top3...which to vote...
Sweet Dreams
It's a Magical Life
Race for Love
those are my fav also. I think Sweet Dreams is very well done and has a good concept. Magical Life has simpler cinematography but has a better concept IMO. Race for Love also has a good concept, although has a negative connotation to the message.
Voted for Sweet Dreams nevertheless...and I hope Rod wins
Why not the height of driving and enjoyment WHILE lugging the family around to parks and picnics on weekends?
What kind of budget do you think he had?!
1. well done video
2. the panamera is ugly
3. who would live in such a shitty house with a $100k car?
