Today coming home from work, I pulled up to a red light next to a Porsche.

All I remember is that it had a T word on the back. And a number and an S proceeded it. The lettering was right below where the vents were under the rear window. What car is this???

Anyway. I decided to rev him and try to race. I dumped the clutch at the light, and apparently so did he. God damn that car was fast.

If it starts with a T, it hast to be a 911 Targa 4S. A new one with a PDK will do 0-60 in the low, low 4s range.

FYI - older ('67+) Targas had a removable roof over the passengers.

Newer ('96+) Targas have a retractable glass panel (supersized moonroof) that slides down and back into the rear cabin.

Last I checked with a number and a S proceeds a T it's ending with that.

thanks for adding in an acronym that someone that doesn't know a Porsche would know.

you go you!

I don't continue working on a post when the person doesn't know what 'proceeds' means :)

The only 2 T words porsche uses that I know of is Turbo or Targa
The only number that porsche has used in recent times is 911
IIRC any variant with S in it only started with the 996 generation

So i'm guessing its either a 996 or a 997

Used in that context, your English gives me *facepalm*.

Perhaps you aren't the sharpest tool then. Sorry if it was hard to understand.

Boxter S, Cayman S, Carrera S, Cayenne S, Panamera S? The only one that doesn't have an S is the Carrera GT

Targa 4S is sexy. I've seen one in LA around some Equinox fitness club.
