"I mean I felt violated. And as soon as I felt that way of course my thoughts then turned to my daughter. Then I feel like she's been violated which infuriates me."

Tina immediately contacted the Walmart store where she bought the player, along with the equipment's manufacturer only to be repeatedly ignored.

"It just adds insult to injury. That's how I feel. It just adds insult to injury."

I don't think the store has much to do about this.. why can't they contact the manufacturer?

wait you can still buy VHS players?

also whats the big deal? just toss it away (or keep it) and let the store know. no need to involve the media

Most normal people would just toss it in the trash or hide it in their sock drawer.

I love how people fake offence to get money and publicity.

But before pushing play, they noticed what they thought was a head-cleaner inside the VHS slot.

"So we said let's see if it's working and it was there and it was available, so we pressed play," said Sabotin.

:hmm:
Head cleaner, right....

perhaps it was a returned unit - customer left it in there when they returned it.

Perhpas hubby tried it out a few hours earlier and forgot to remove the evidence........

I don'e see wally world or the manufacturer accepting blame for this!

An injury she's not sure can ever be repaired. Now her only hope is that it doesn't happen to someone else.

"Your first thing is to want to protect your child and at that point I felt as if I let my child down."

Walmart said they are looking into the matter and have launched an internal investigation.

Ban that family from ever using a DVD/VHS player

Walmart launched an internal investigation over this?! I complained to Walmart that the electronic controls on a deep fryer shorted out, resulting in a house filled with smoke. I told them, "you may want to look into this to see if there's a widespread problem." I was apparently ignored.

This. They'll be looking for a settlement next.

That's when the unthinkable happened. The head-cleaner turned out to be a pornographic video tape. The video was half way through a graphic sex scene before Tina could wrap her mind around what was happening.
"I was kind of dumb founded. And my husband is like 'close your eyes, close your eyes."
Lol Wut?

If an average porn scene is 20 mins, it took her 10 to figure out what is going on? Or is that just poorly worded as in Tina is also her daughters name...

Also, why is the husband telling the wife to close her eyes?

*confused*

This article has BS all over it, sounds more like hubby was doing a bit of testing beforehand and forgot to take it out...
