Ok im running Windows XP and i got Zonealarm Pro and a hardware router/firewall.

I have ONLY anandtech forums open (not evan surfing) and i get this dam German porn site that keeps asking to install some active Xviewer.

I ran Ad-Aware and deleted some cookies.


what do I do.
 
I just installed PopUpStopper24.exe its really nice and man it works beautyfull. OMG its wonderfull.


AND I DONT LOOK AT PORN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!often 🙂

check your add/remove programs.... sometimes when you install programs (i.e. kazaa and such) they'll install softawre that does that
 
Get rid of all your cookies.. Unistall some programs that came with kaza or what not. If that dosent work, reformat your hard drive😛
 
Okay, here's what you do...

-disconnect your connection tool (i.e. cable modem, DSL router, dialup connection, etc)
-<ctrl> <alt> <del> and end any tasks not essential to running windows (OS specific)
-clear cache, cookies

reboot (leave connection media disconnected)

Uh, I'm thinking you can do that by going, in IE, to Tools>Internet Options>Clear History...
 
Yeah.... if you have "delete files" click that.
if you have "delete history" click that.
if you don't have either one of those, you're not using IE and I cannot support you 😛

No, Clear History is different to my knowledge. It clears the info that you get when you type in a url, and it automatically suggests you websites whose name match what you have typed.

Actually, the Germans make excellent porn, far better than what is produced here in the US. Production values are higher, the scriptwriting/acting is better (and somewhat realistic), the direction and filming is of much higher quality (better camera angles,etc.). Not only that, but German porn is, well, erotic. This can't be said for films produced in the US.
