Bah. The kid will be fine. Parents just simply over-react to this. People have skin, the kid saw skin. Big whooping deal. If the father didn't freak out, the kid would never have known anything out of the ordinary happened.

Kids do most of their learning by watching their parents. If this guy hadn't freaked out, I doubt whether that kid would have thought much of what he saw.

In a related story, my friend was telling me how they were watching a family movie on HBO. After the movie her kids went to wash up to go to bed, and she stepped away from the TV for a few minutes, but left it on. When the kids came back downstairs some HBO sex show had started. They apparently just stood there and stared at the screen. Of course she had to quickly take them to bed, but she was definitely laughing about it by the time I heard the story.
Personally, I thought it was pretty funny too. BTW, the kids are in 1st grade.

Perhaps I overreacted a little. But I have a 2 1/2 year old and I damn sure don't want him seeing that kind of garbage for a really long time. Not until he's at the schoolyard with some other kids and it finally happens...thats how it happened for me damnit. And that should be a long time from now, hopefully.

FWIW, I do think this is despicable though, and I hope they find out who did it and throw the book. My kid watches Disney channel for what little time he does watch TV.
