I don't think its sad. Watching porn with the girlfriend always inspires us to try something new. If everyone watched porn, the world would be a better place IMO.

I once read a pron stars comments on the economics of the porn industry. She commented that it was only a matter of time before the industry became primarily female run and owned. This is supposed to be because chicks make the most money in the industry and she believed their star power and financial power would eventually translate into ownership as the current generation of pornographers slower retire.

With out demand there would be no point in supply. I don't care what the issue is. If no one wants it there won't be a market for it and thus no one interested in the supply side of the equation. This is why all issues are best dealt with in the demand side.. part of which is dealing with supply interdiction for some issues.
