I saw them in concert last summer in San Diego. Great group of very talented musicians.

Pick up their 'Hell Freezes Over' tour on DVD. It's awesome. 'In the City' is on that DVD along with a bunch of other great Eagles songs.
 
Jules, I saw them twice last year, they always put on a great show. I got my tickets for the first 2 venues of the second leg of the tour which starts in MAY.

Actually Joe Walsh did it originally on his own for for the soundtrack to The Warriors, the other Eagles liked it enough that they then did a band version.
 
My dad kinda knows Joe Walsh. They're both ham radio enthusiats.... My dad got free tickets to see him at the Fillmore in SF a couple years back 🙂

I'm not sure exactly, something to do with ham radio. On the radio or at a swap meet or something. I know at one point my dad was fixing one of his radios, so that could be it, too.
