Populace Question

MX2

Lifer
Where in the US is the highest concentration (per capita) of...

Caucasians?
Afro-Americans?
Asians?
Hispanics?

I know the answers to these questions. I've studied them.

Caucasians? Midwest, Idaho/Montana area, and upper upper Northeast (Maine, Vermont, NH, etc). I think something like 98% of Vermont is white, the highest of any state.
Afro-Americans? Deep south. Especially Mississippi. Some counties in Mississippi are 90% black.
Asians? San Francisco area.
Hispanics? Los Angeles (Mexican), Miami (Cuban), also Texas.

Afro-Americans?

I think that's either Gary, IN or Detroit, MI.

Detroit proper has the highest for any major city, but for "general area" the numbers are not that high. If you include the suburbs, Detroit doesn't have as many African Americans per capita as other parts of the US.

For an entire state Mississippi has the highest.

I could have swore I typed Northeast. I remember saying it in my mind, I must have just typed out "west" while saying "east."

The OP is pretty vague. He doesn't specify how large the area has to be. Detroit is the highest for major cities, I think Gary, IN is the highest for all cities (major & minor, 85% black), but there would be individual neighborhoods in any city that are as high as 100%.

The OP really needs to be more specific.
