I thought for my first thread I would post a topic that would allow me to get to know people. Of course being the intuitive person that I am, I can tell everything I need to know about a person based on their Poptart preferences. :)

Smores pop tarts are great. I had a class with a foreign grad student who has only been in the US for about three years and once I saw her buy some pop tarts out of the vending machine. I asked her why she didn't microwave them (there was no toaster around since it was the school break room) and she was shocked. She had no idea that pop tarts should be toasted (or in a pinch microwaved) before eaten! She apparently ate the things almost every day, I completely rocked her world that day.

A friend once correctly stated that sometimes Poptarts sound good, delicious even (esp. if you are very hungry), and then you eat it. Immediately you think,"that was a MISTAKE!" She was right.

Brown Sugar poptarts are good both cold and heated. However, I can generally only eat one due to the amount of sugar in a poptart. I start getting this wierd feeling in my body.

@xSauronx Chocolate fudge are not one of the options in the vending machine. Next time the vendor comes by I will yell CHOCOLATE FUDGE RULES then kick him in the ass and run!

@Venkman I never heat mine up. I once got a very serious burn on my tongue from the filling and since then I eat everything cold. ;)

They always give me heartburn, so I rarely eat them. S'mores and and brown sugar are the best tasting, though.

@CPA a weird feeling in your body. I would guess you are either diabetic or snack foods turn you on. :D

@Redfraggle it is possible your poptarts may not have been fresh. Stale poptarts are a very serious problem in this country. My suggestion is to kick the vending machine guy in the ass while yelling, "Stale POPTARTS suck!" Oh, and then run of course!

@LifesABeta I'm sorry friend but you are not worthy to partake in the taste sensation we call the poptart. What you do sir is against God and Country. ;)

@Crono I've never heard of anyone getting heartburn from poptarts? Are you eating the Jalapeño flavored poptarts? :)

Some baked goods (I'm guessing it's the CO2 trapped) give me heartburn/reflux, especially freshly baked bread, cookies, etc. Even pop tarts, to a lesser extent.

Venkman ...i was using it as the "at symbol" not as a domain. It's a habit I picked up from *cough* Facebook. However, I adapt very quickly to change.

@@@@@@@@@@@ ...OK, I'm done. Just had to get it out of my system. *evil grin*
