I have all my music ripped to iTunes, and I play my music through my computer often. I hear a lot of pops and clicks in the music. Its subtle, but its there, and annoying. I don't think the problem is with the source of the music. When I play the same songs through my stereo, there is no problem. And I have some music ripped from other computers that pops and clicks when I play it on my computer.
I figure the problem is with the speakers or the sound card, and my money is on the sound card. I have an average set of speakers, Altec Lansing's with subwoofer that I bought many years ago.
The sound card is whatever came standard with my Dell Dimension 4700. I did try updating the drivers.
