Popping zits and blackheads. What's the big deal?

I don't get it. They must have hundreds of nasty videos on You Tube showing people popping blackheads and zits on their forehead, nose, inner ears, back, etc.. Why is this a popular subject? D:

My guess is that because people can get zits anywhere at anytime and want to know how to deal with them.

Maybe I'm not the norm, but I'm thinking (or hoping) most people wouldn't spend their evenings watching videos of someone popping zits on their ass unless they had a reason

My room mate always had this funny bump in the middle of his back between the shoulders and I saw it from time to time when he was wearing certain shirts. So I asked him once and he showed me. Turns out it was this enormous buried cyst. I showed him some youtube videos and he let me drain it for him. It was just like any of the infamous youtube videos.

not that i have poped a huge one like in the YT vids but even small zits in the wrong place can cause a lot of pressure and hurt, poping them releives that

I agree from the standpoint of actually popping your own. I don't understand the satisfaction from watching others do it...ugh.

usually does no good to drain a cyst, you have to remove 100% of the enlarged Sebaceous gland (sweat) or it comes back. Once enlarged they don't shrink back down, so they tend to clog and swell up again and fill with cheese.

you do realize that they can form in people with good hygiene. and sometimes are unnoticable untill they start causing pain or discomfort. which is why they can get pretty large
