Popeyes

I always try to go there because i hear such good thing about it, but every time I go, the chicken is well fried but never has any flavor. KFC is still winning in my book unfortunately

Anyone else notice that popeyes has no flavor?

really? I have always preferred Popeye's over KFC. Mind you, I am in Canada, our chicken is not as hormone laden as the american ones.

Popeyes' chicken chucks, whatever they call them, are nasty. It's like they marinated them in bleach or something to remove all flavor and break down the texture of the meat.

OP's right. Popeyes chicken stinks aside from the overfried crispy skin. The meat is very bland compared to KFC. If they didn't have biscuits, I'd never g.

Lee's Famous Recipe was always my favorite. May be a regional thing in KY though. Always had good stuff from Popeyes too, but make sure to get the spicy.

The quality has gone down in the past several years, but I still prefer Popeye's over KFC. The red beans & rice and biscuits are awesome.

I do like KFC's mashed taters and gravy...

Popeyes owns KFC...always get spicy. They should just get rid of mild and make room for spicy chicken.
