-Are you actually suggesting that not everything on the internet is true?

I think someone just wants Trump to try and remove citizenship from the Pope.

I mean, why not.
Yet, snopes is relying on google (the internet) to determine if it's true or not about something that may have been over heard, and not said in public, or said in another setting out of the public eye.

If someone legitimately witnessed the pope making such a statement, but in a non public setting (the only real way there would be more articles), wihch they posted on their social media, and that is the only source, does it make it untrue just because google doesn't have anything else, but that one source, who shows witnessed the statement? If a bear shits in the woods, but didn't do it publically, and snopes can't find any other proof on the internet using google, but the one source that may have witnessed it, did that bear really shit in the woods?

could it be a paraphrase or interpretation of what the Pope said, and as we all know interpretations can be influenced by ones perception of what they see and hear (or want to hear). There is also the possibility that the New Pope made such a statement in the past, or simular, before becoming pope (doubtful but still possible), and really has nothing to do with Today/Trump. But it's nearly impossible to determine that, because even if you google is true name with "Christ and Kings" to attempt to bring up any possibility of statement containing that combination, the results seem to all be realated to his new position as Pope. (it seems search engines are almost useless in trying to dig up information that isn't tied to popular "discussions, topics, and current events", due to their algorithms now days). Or as you said, they are just trying to get Trump to react. Of course, it seems Trump's whole path in life is to react, and push falsehoods, and create falsehoods.. so it fits.
