Pop ups don't stop

Hey people,

I don't know why i'm receiving pop ups every few seconds even when my pop up blocker is set at high in IE. According to IE, if i select high - it should block all the pop ups but this does not happen.
At any pop up setting, that is low, medium or high the pop ups keep coming.


Any help/suggestions to stop this annoying pop ups?

Maybe try the Google popup blocker?

Well, it worked good for me back when I was using IE. However, since switching to Firefox exclusively, I get probably 2-3 popups max PER WEEK.

You might also try a Spyware scan using Ad-aware, Spybot, and SpywareBlaster. Be sure to immunize using Spybot and install the lastest protection using SB.

What popup blocker are you using? I'd probably get a different popup blocker. IE is pretty full of holes but if you are careful, you can get by without popups and junk. I don't have popups and I have a decent blocker.

Edit: Oh, btw, I use PopUp Cop.

Probably spyware. Also run CWShredder.

get firefox, get Avast! antivirus, scan your computer, delete viruses, get Spybot: search and destroy, get rid of spyware, clean your registry with Crap Cleaner

that should fix you up.
