I have the popup blocker turned off but it still blocks things. Normally that is OK but it blocks new pages when I click links to open them up. It also blocks things such as when I am starting a new thread on a forum and try to use some of the thread options (bold text/hyperlink/etc.)
I think this all started when I went to IE7 beta but since I haven't read anyone else wiht this problem I am not sure if it's directly related.
Here are some screen caps. In this example I was simply trying to start a new post on a forum and add a bold word.
This shows a popup has been blocked.
Next is the options it gives when I click on it.
Laslty you see the Turn Pop Up Blocker On (which means I have it off)
BTW it did the same thing on this post while trying to enter the first url until I told it to temprarily allow pop ups. Why does it not understand I have the pop up option OFF???
Also, I do have the google pop up blocker which works fine so I don't need IE trying to help out.
Maybe I am missing something??????
