As always guys, merely reporting the ad doesn't do us much good. These ads are rare enough (and seem to be targeted and/or geographically distributed) so that they never appear for most people; as a result I can't reproduce the ads. If you encounter an ad you need to grab the origin URL for each of the 3 ads (top, left, bottom) so that we can figure out which one is the flaky ad, so that we can ask AT's ad people to pull it and beat the infringing ad network over the head.

gotcha. i was trying to get the url of the ad itself, didn't realize you could work with the urls for the other ads. next time it pops up i'll grab them.

In the case of IE, the built in Developers Tools are enough (they have a nice click-to-element feature). For Firefox you really need some extra tools like Firebug.

Hmmm... using Chrome.

Also, what's this?

There was some small white picture (the size of a FARK tag) that said "Adsense" just to the left of (and slightly overlapping) the date. I clicked it and it showed the above.

Can't replicate the Adsense pic.

I don't use Chrome, so I couldn't tell you what to use. I'm assuming there's a set of Chrome development tools somewhere that mimics the functionality of IE/Firebug.

I keep getting a voice 5 survey pop up and it is starting to get real annoying...

safari 5 w/ pop up blocker...

Just got this...

There was a Bing ad on top and Sprint ad on the left. I save the entire source from IE. Not sure if that will help. Can e-mail to someone if needed.

Your surfing with internet explorer. The most targeted browser on the planet.
You should probably scan your pc with the free malwarebytes.
Get it at: malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free

I'm using Firefox with some add-ons. and I never see pop ups.
.....noscript....adblock plus....cookie monster...downloadhleper....

Just got it under Chrome. that is at least 3 browsers.

Marlin1975 has the page source. Virge should be able to do something with it hopefully.
