Pop-tart incident..

Was in the break room, fellow co-worker just got done toasting his pop-tarts. My heart fluttered by the smell of the delicious filling and frosted topping. He then proceeds to reach in the fridge, whips out the I Can't Believe It's Not Butter squeeze bottle and starts to pour it on the pop-tarts like you would ketchup to a hot-dog... I almost lost it and my lunch...

My ex-gf's mom, a sweet little lady from Arkansas, used to butter her toast/rolls/bread as if she were frosting a cake. I'd have to shut my eyes whenever I ate over there.

I feel your pain.

And BTW, if it's not butter, WTF is that stuff anyway? *shiver*

I like to stick a little bit of butter on my pop tarts. Maybe like half a teaspoon or something- but using it as frosting? That's pretty bad, though it wouldn't make me want to throw up. It's just butter :/

When i was a kid, I had a good friend who would put a 1/4 inch pat of butter on each bite of his sugar donut. My stomach is churning now just thinking about it.

Don't the French Canadians (and the French, for that matter) dip their French frieds in some sort of cheese and gravy combination? Or maybe its mayo and gravy? Anyone know what that's called?

My roomate (he did this a couple of weeks ago actually) ALSO puts a little butter on his poptarts. I tried it....its not bad!

Neither one of use are overweight either, I guess its like an "occasional" treat. I'll keep my buttered pop tarts to that one sample though..I think.

I know what you're talking about, but I forget what it's called.

Yup, poutine ... and it is heart-stoppingly good 🙂

I put butter on poptarts. Only a small amount. It's good.

Got to be real butter tho, never margerine or I can't believe its not butter.
