so 32-bit app on 32-bit OS is allocated 2gb addressible memory space.... maximum 3.2gb if one adds a certain line to bootup files (it also takes 1gb addressible space away from operating system)

but a 32-bit app on 64-bit OS, how much memory space is it allocated and how much physically can it use

Wrong forum, and your wrong. A 32bit app can access upto 3gig not 3.2gb of user address space if the image is marked as large memory aware AND the OS is so configured.

Second, on Vista 64 a normal 32bit application gets 2gb, one marked high memory aware gets a full 4gb.
