Ever since I upgraded to Vista to take advantage of my Radeon 7770 I noticed the default picture viewer is HORRIBLE for scaling pictures. I don't mean scaling in the inputting a resolution size and resizing sense, but in the putting the mouse pointer over a medium sized picture and scrolling the mouse wheel to conveniently zoom in on it to fit the monitor sense. The default Windows XP picture viewer I had used for years did a good job of this, but the new "Windows Photo Gallery" included with Vista makes the exact same pics look horribly pixelated in comparison.
Is there a solution for this? If not, what was the name of the picture viewer XP used by default so I could download it? I think it worked far better. Not even telling Catalyst Control Center to scale everything with the video card seems to have helped, so I'm left to assume the issue is with the program.
