poor performane with iwill xp333, please help

my friends system seems to be running very slow. i made a custom rtcw benchmark to test the system and compare it to mine.

he's over here lanning and we are using the exact same config (resolution, colorbits, texturebits, and everything) I get 92-93fps on the demo and he only gets 55-56fps. but his system should be faster than mine.

my system
Athlon XP @1.56
Abit KR7A
GF4 Ti 4400
512MB PC2100

his system
Athlon XP 2000+ (1.67)
Iwill XP333
GF4 Ti 4600
512MB PC2100

we've tried a number of different things to remedy the problem, but to no avail. All the bios settings look good and we've tried different video drivers. We've tried different ALi drivers and even formatted and installed a new OS.
I can't believe the ALi chipset performs this poorly. From some of the revies i've read it seems to peform between KT266 and KT266A levels.
If you have any idea what the problem is please respond. thanx

thanx, i swear i searched this forum lastnite and didn't find it. that got it up to 70fps, but i think it should still get 80+. what do you think?

Make sure you've got the latest 30.82 drivers and integrated ali chipset drivers(1.91 I think)

Make sure the AGPFWDisconnect is enabled..it helps.
Try disabling/enabling SBA and AGPFWStrap

Make sure he's defragged lately, check for windows updates(if you have XP, there was an AMD processor update that might help)
