Poor performance with Geforce II GTS/32 DDR

I just bought a asus 7700 pure, and I get lausy 4200 3dMarks?!
What is the meaning... This isn't a geforce II mx (goddammed)!!!

If anyone has an idea about tuning my card, please reply.

what denator are u use? dont use the 5.16 driver which come from the box, use the 6.18!

3dMark2000 is as much of a CPU benchmark as it is a graphics benchmark

Well, I'm thinking about buying a duron 800@1100, to replace my PIII... anyway thanks for your help!

How much did you oc your cards... I tryed once, but it didn't seem to have a big impact on the speed of the card.

your marks sound about right kebb. i have a thunderbird 800 with an MX, and get 4479, with nothing overclocked. with your PIII 500, you get around the score you should.

Are you sure that is about right??? My wife`s machine is a Celeron II 533a @950mhz with a ASUS 6800 Geforce DDR and gets 5050 in 3dMark2000 and that is not overclocked...

128meg @ 143MHz
VisionTek GF2 GTS 32meg (using 2x AGP and 6.34) not overclocked.

3DMark 2000 scores 6847 3D, and 534 in CPU.



Prior to GF2,
Abit KT7, Duron 600 @ 896MHz (112*8)
3dfx VooDoo3 3000 AGP

3DMark 2000 scores 3026 3D, and 210 in CPU.
