I was wondering if anybody else out there noticed that your geforce3 ti200 performed pretty terrible to what you've expected?
I recently had a fresh install and loaded up counterstrike, only to find that for some weird reason, it would only pump out either 100 or 50 fps in opengl on cs_office...it seemed to arbritrarily decide what was easy and difficult to draw. Running it in direct3d was even worse, I would typically get no more than 50 fps in cs_office or a similar "simple map". I had a score of about 5300 in 3dmarks. These are my system specs...
Epox 8kha+ (kt266a)
Palamino 1.33 ghz
256M mushkin pc2100 (2-2-2)
msi geforce3 ti200
Ibm 60gxp
sb live 5.1
WinME w/ directx 8.1, newest via 4in1, lately detenator drivers from nvidia @ 1024x768x16 (desktop res and game res)
samsung 955df
Does anyone know of any reason why I would only be able to get only 30fps with this setup? I was able to get more than this on my old k6-2 / v3 combo. I don't think I missed anything, except that I cannot seem to disable v-sync in either opengl or direct3d because the drivers won't let me disable it. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Email me if you want. Thank you...
