Poor Memory Speeds

I'm building a new Ryzen 7 box using a Gigabyte GA-AX370 mobo. I'm seeing really poor memory benchmarks and I don't know why.

The DDR-4 memory is 2x 8GB Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3000C15. I have overclocked the CPU to 3.7 Ghz. I have selected the XMP memory profile and adjusted the memory multiplier to about 3100 Mhz. Memory timings are the XMP defaults.

This is what I'm seeing:

From other postings regarding this memory, I think I should be getting about 30 GB/s. Even my older DDR-3 box is getting 20 GB/s.

Can anyone make any suggestions?

Thanks,
Kirk

I found one setting that made a difference. Under Perhiperals | AMD CBS was interleave size. Changing that to 2K (the max) increased benchmarks from 16GB/s to 21GB/s.

Auto settings should be optimal if there are no mistakes in BIOS.
Would be easier for me to compare any results if you test it in something like AIDA64 Memory and Cache benchmark. It's free but some results can be hidden.

I've decided to send back the memory. New memory is coming today that *is* on the approved list. I will post results.

I'm not saying it's your case but there is quite long history of Corsair+Gigabyte issues. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Some issues were fixed with BIOS, some not.
I hope you won't have more problems with new memory kit.

After exchanging with Gigabyte tech support I abandoned mission and returned the motherboard to Amazon. I have an Asus X470 Prime as a replacement waiting to be installed.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions.
