Poor Man's Freesync

So I want to make use of the Freesync on my monitor:

I currently run a GTX770 4Gb, and it does OK with Diablo3 at 1440p.

I want to be able to turn on Freesync, enable every visual bell and whistle possible, and game smoothly. What AMD video card do I need to be looking at?

You might want to post in the general video card or amd area since not many people frequent the display's subforum.

But any AMD card from 290 or newer will support FreeSync. What is your country (or website you'd buy from) and price range?

470 is great entry level card price/perf and will should handle D3 @ 1440p fine.

D3 is more CPU bound than anything iirc, here it is running >150 fps on an i3 and 470 @ 1080p:

Thanks. I may post over there. You have me thinking that I will probably throw a Ryzen CPU/Mobo into the want list during the middle of the year. I like all the eye candy turned on, but the 2500K may be holding me back.
