specs: ti4200 to a hitachi 42" plasma using a dvi to HMDI cable.

The best way to describe is all the text is rough. My eyes cry when I stare at text for too long. I have no idea what adjustment needs to be made to correct this.

I have no idea where to start. I tried powerstrip but I dont get that program and trying to learn is hard when you have a solid headache from staring at the text.

Any help is appreciated.

What resolution is your TV? 1366x768? 1920x1080? You've got to set your resolution to something compatible to the height. Powerstrip should help you do this, but I don't use it nor do I use GeForce cards. Also, don't forget to enable ClearType.

Worst-case scenario: Try a different video card, especially a Radeon card if you have one. GeForce cards of that vintage were known for high-res DVI problems.

Thanks for teh response sm8000

The tv is a 1080i and going through the menus on the tv I see no way to change resolution. Looks like I will have to RTFM on that.

Clear type is enabled and it helps, but very little.

When I have a day off I will drag my main PC with a 9800pro into the living room and see. Thanks for the help.
