Poor evga 6800nu agp 3dmark05 scores 16x6p

well i got the fry's deal for the ecs p4m800pro and e6300. i'm running it w/2x1gb of kingston pc4200 ram and 6800nu. i'm using xp sp2 w/all the latest updates. i'm even able to unlock the extra pipes w/no artifacts. i'm set agp aperture to 128mb. i see that most people get 3000-4000 on 3dmark05 but all i'm getting is 1600. does anyone have the same problem with this board? do you think it may be a problem with the video card? thx

Yeah, somethings wrong. My barton core @2.3Ghz nets a score of about 4060 with the same GPU.
Maybe the AGP drivers are a problem. On my Asrock board, I had to manually update the AGP driver.
For some reason, the hyperion installer didn't list that option.

I had a similar problem before with my card. for some reason the AGP bus was not recognized properly and it was running as a PCI. Reinstall of OS fixed it, althought it could have been problem with Nforce.

Goto your device manager and see what it comes up as.

well i finally found it under device manager and it was under 'system' and 'cpu to agp' well the update worked and i'm getting 3900 in 3dmark05. thx a lot guys hope this will help somebody out. now i gotta figure out why my cs source keeps crashing
