Poor D2OL Performance on a Linux Rig.

Hello all,

My basic problem is slow D2OL performance on my rig. I'll let the numbers speak for themselves. Basically this rig is getting times only 15 minutes better than a PIII 500 I also have.

Node ID:104160
CPU: Celeron 2.6Ghz
RAM: 256Mb
Northbridge: Via something with integrated video
Hard Disk: Some really old 6Gb
OS: Mandrake 10.0


Regardless of the slow hard disk and the not top-end northbridge, I think it would be doing much better than that compared to the PIII I have running D2OL. The PIII is node 95329 if you need comparison.


Could anyone suggest possible problems here?

Hmmm I have not installed version 2 on any linux machines.. .I know with the old one you had to get some sort of older library....

I am sure some of the guys running linux can help out. (Meremortal. 😉 )

I have a 2 gig Celeron running d2ol on win xp and it only does around 40 a day. I have a duron 650 that does more than that
