TIGERVILLE, SC - An emotional Anita Perry reflected on the "rough month" she and her husband, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, have endured on the campaign trail in a speech Thursday focused largely on faith.

The Texas first lady weaved together religion and politics in a speech at North Greenville University, characterizing her husband's decision to seek the presidency in August as a calling from God. Perry suggested her husband was being targeted for his evangelical Christian faith.

Again I find this totally amazing. These self serving religious A-holes can de-cry their own perceived pubic prosecution while they demonize others, all while not showing one hint of the very compassion that they themselves feel deprived of, to others.

Poor Anita Perry… She feels her family is unfairly picked on, and without taking a single breath, can then demonized gays and anyone else that "THEY" feel are less than deserving humans in their eyes, and their hypocrisy of self serving morals.

If there is one single justified reason to turn against such organized religion of hate and evil that people like Anita Perry subscribes to, Anita Perry is the example. Their religious cult called THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT WING is not of any God or Christ, rather it is sourced from pure evil.
Anita Perry, simply sickening....

We'll make a deal.

We won't vote for her Husband, and she can say things to help convince others not to.

This is not unusual. Nazis were the victims, the top 1% are the victims, slaver owners were the victims, name me an oppressive class and I'll show you victims.

Talk to a 'factory owner' type, he'll tell you what a burden it is, all the crap he has to put up from workers, how overtaxed he is.

In the civil rights era, whites were the victims of being 'forced' to interact with people they didn't want to, when all they wanted was the completely fair separate but equal.

There's a phrase, "The white man's burden", coming from a Rudyard Kipling poem written in 1899 for Victorian England, about the 'obligation' of the white man to colonize the rest of the world, to do the people there the favor of spreading civilization - the 'burden' of those colonial policies that provided so much benefit for the colonizer and so much oppression and killing for the colonized, was whining by the colonizer how it was a burden to do that favor.

Look at US politics today, and you see constant pandering to fundamentalists by telling them they're the victims of things like the 'war on Christmas'.

Gay Marriage discrimination? You guessed it, the victims aren't the people denied equal rights, it's the people who have 'their institution of marriage under attack'.

Did she forget evangelicals saying Mormons were part of a cult and Catholicism is a false religion.

I thought the left were supposed to be religious bigots.

I think it is very important for folk to suspect that anybody who can buy into the religious shit of the fundamentalist right shouldn't get within miles of the Presidency. We don't need some psychopath who is longing for Armageddon.

Suspect is the wrong word here, you need something stronger.
