Poor 3DMark Results...

Hmm, I just built a new system, and but for some reason the 3DMark benchmarks seem to be poor, I think this is the right forum to post this kind of question.

My new system is a T-Bird 1333 Mhz, on an ECS K7S5A, with 512 DDR RAM(Just micron, not crucial), and a 64 MB Geforce 2 GTS card. I am however using the onboard sound on the card, but I doubt that it could be sucking from my CPU that much... I have the newest NVIDIA drivers as well as DX8, yet I am benchmarking only 3100 or so... This seems to be lower than I expected, and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas? It's a Win2k system, and I haven't flashed the bios yet, nor done any specific optimization...

You can disable the sound within 3DM2K1. You can cross-reference with others' results at madonion.com, but 3100 doesn't sound too far off the mark.
